A subsidiary of Navistar, International Truck is a leader in special use vehicles. International Truck vehicles include heavy duty models for long haul and city tractor use, medium duty models for use as emergency vehicles and in the beverage industry, and severe service models for construction and waste collection. International Truck also designs and builds vehicles for military use and custom vehicles for special use.

With more than 40 major facilities in the United States as well as locations in Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa, there are a large number of businesses working with International Truck. Additionally, locations across the country provide repair and maintenance service for International Truck vehicles. Standards issued by International Truck are particularly useful for companies performing repair and maintenance on International Truck vehicles and suppliers working with the repair and maintenance businesses and directly with International Truck.
