1 Scope
This specification detail the requirements of oil formulations that must be compatible with current production processes and paint systems used to protect sheet metal surfaces against corrosion and stains. Steel mills and processors must apply these materials at the following levels: 1.3 2.1 g/m 2 This should be calculated by a minimum of five measurements equally spaced across the width of the sheet. Any deviations from this requirement must be spelled out on the Metal Parts Specification (MPS) sheet or the purchase order.
