Scope:
The materials defined by these specifications are cold rolled, fully killed, fine grained, high strength low alloy (HSLA) steel sheet possessing good forming and welding properties (see para 5.1). The choice of strengthening mechanism is at the discretion of the supplier and shall be described in the Control Plan. Specification WSS-M1P94-A shall be used where pre-coating by the steel supplier is required.
Clarification: The variants and minimum yield strength level (MPa) are listed below:
• A1: 220
• A2: 250
• A3: 300
• A4: 350
• A5: 400
• A6: 450
