Scope:
1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is an NLGI Grade 1 -2 lubricating grease consisting of refined mineral oils, lithium 12-hydroxystearate thickener and molybdenum disulfide added to give the desired characteristics of a long life lubricant. The grease shall be a homogeneous product, free from oil separation, abrasive fillers, and shall be noncorrosive to lubricated parts in service.
