Scope:

The materials defined by these specifications are a grade of tinted float glass coated one side with a reflective film of metal oxides which has been heat treated. They meet test requirements as described in American National Standard Institute Safety Code: ANSI Standard Z26.1 1977, January 26, 1977, as supplemented by Z26.1a, July 3, 1980, and incorporated by reference in FMVSS 205, February 23, 1984.
