Scope:

1. SCOPE

This specification covers a thermoplastic elastomer of the TPV (Thermoplastic Vulcanizate) type consisting of vulcanised EPDM particles in a continuous polypropylene matrix and containing 1% active slip agent. The slip agent shall be added by blending 5% of a 20% masterbatch of fatty acid amides in a suitable, compatible TPV.
