BSCOPE

This schedule covers the temporary protectives used for sheet steel, body panels, body sub-assemblies and bodies- in- white (unpainted). The classification of the preservatives is covered in Section E. Performance requirements and test procedures are detailed in Sections F and G. Materials approved against the performance requirements are listed in Appendix A. Note: This schedule does not cover production protectives, such as box section preservatives and underseals, which are covered by their own specifications: nor does it cover the temporary transit protectives used for painted bodies or complete vehicles, which also have their own specifications.
