Scope:

B SCOPE

1. This Standard defines requirements for anodic oxidation coatings on suitable wrought aluminium alloys where their cosmetic appearance is of importance. 2. It is based on BS 1615, and does not cover anodic coatings on aluminium castings (refer to JMS 10.01.02), hard anodic coatings applied for engineering purposes or thin pre-treatment films for organic coatings.
