ISUZU ISA-E-005A Document Information:
Title
General Tolerance (Machining) - Part 1: Tolerance for Linear and Angular Dimensions Without Individual Tolerance Indications
Isuzu Motors Ltd.
Publication Date:
Feb 22, 2002
Scope:
This standard covers the tolerance applying to the linear and angular
dimensions for the cutting
work, to which their tolerances are not attached to individual
dimensions but shown collectively on
drawings (hereinafter called general tolerance). The cutting work
means the machining process in
which cutting tools produce chips. However, this standard does not
cover the tolerances separately
specified in Isuzu's standards, for example, that for thread accuracy
which is covered by
ISA-M-002A. And, if a dimension is determined between two surfaces;
one surface is machined in
cutting work but the other is processed otherwise, the coarser of the
general tolerances applying
to the surfaces shall be used with the dimension.
