Scope:
The object of this test specification is to define the
requirements on elastomeric components used for vibration
insulation in motor vehicles. In addition to the requirements for
marking symbols, the tests on the elastomeric material as well as
the physical tests on the complete component are specified.
Parts to this specification are applicable in a temperature
range of (-30 to +70)°C.
Note: Nothing in the specification, however, supersedes
applicable laws and regulations unless a specific exemption has
been obtained.
Note: In the event of a conflict between the German and the
English language, the German language shall take precedence.
