Scope:
1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is a solid film lubricant consisting of molybdenum disulfide in a solvent carrier which dries by reaction with air. It is intended for reduction of friction of metal-to-metal contact. Additionally, coating of parts by molybdenum disulfide provides resistance to corrosion.
