This standard is applicable to all sheet steel, supplied precoated with zinc, for the purpose of galvanic protection. Such steels may be used for structural body panels, body skin panels, trim armatures and certain interior bracketry. This Standard covers both electrodeposited zinc (electrozinc) and hot dip galvanised steels.
