Scope:
1. SCOPE
The materials defined by this specification are corrosion protective coatings applied anionically or cationically per supplier specifications over various base coats over steel. They consist of a zinc phosphate pretreatment and either an anodic epoxy electrocoat or a cathodic epoxy electrocoat. Both processes provide enhanced corrosion resistance. When used with an integrally cured torque modified post dip these processes provide consistent torque-tension control.
