Scope:
This standard covers the straight rubber hoses without metal fittings
(hereinafter referred to as
'hoses') used mainly with automotive lubricants(Footnote 1), and
operating fluids(Footnote 2) at
pressures not higher than 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm²}.
Remarks
1: Bend hoses, hoses with more-than-one diameters or hoses with metal
fittings shall be assigned as
quasi-standard parts and their drawings shall be individually
prepared. However it is recommended
that their basic characteristics such as rubber materials, hose
performance and inside and outside
diameters of hose, etc. be in accordance with this standard.
2: The units and numerical values are in accordance with the System of
International (SI) units,
and those in braces { } in accordance with the conventional system of
units, appended for
reference.
