This specification covers the requirements for ACuZinc TM 5, a zinc based alloy intended for the hot chamber die casting process. This specification defines the acceptance criteria for the casting alloy and for the cast component. This material has higher tensile strength, hardness, and creep resistance than other currently available hot chamber zinc die cast alloys.
