Scope:
This standard describes the surface appearance and quality
requirements for evaluating the appearance of production level
chrome plated exterior plastic parts. The purpose of these
requirements is to describe the minimum acceptance criteria for
chrome plated exterior plastic parts and a method to determine if
the criteria has been met. This specification is also applicable to
metallic chrome plated parts and interior chrome plated parts.
