Scope:
1. SCOPE
This specification covers the physical, functional and chemical requirements of a grease with a uniform dispersion of Teflon powder. This grease shall be employed in the lubrication of automotive hardware mechanisms that require a low coefficient of friction. DX280027 shall be used only where moderate low temperature torque requirements are required. Functional Requirements. Material must perform satisfactorily in its specified automotive hardware applications between the temperature of 80° C and -30° C.
