Scope:
This test procedure provides a means for determining the force
required to fracture plastic samples
under specified conditions of impact applied by a free falling metal
cylinder dropped vertically or
swung in an arc as shown in Figure 1. The concept of the test is the
same for finished parts and
for test specimens.
