Scope:
This specification covers part performance requirements for the
finishes of electrical/ electronic components that have visible
customer interface surfaces. These components include but are not
limited to switches, buttons, bezels, HUD, interior antennas,
microphones, remote controls, headphones and key fobs. These
components may be molded in color, two shot molded, painted, or
appliquéd. The graphics may be applied by any number of methods
including but not limited to laser etching and pad printing.
