Scope:
1. SCOPE:
This standard describes the cathodic electrocoat appearance requirements of a vehicle which will be finished with primer surfacer and enamel topcoat. These requirements, with regard to appearance attributes and surface blemishes, are outlined by appearance zones and are part of the TQC requirements for commission of the New Enamel Paintshop. The purpose of these appearance requirements is to ensure that the final paint finish of GMHA vehicles will meet or exceed the level shown by our competitors, as well as to meet customer expectations.
