B SCOPE 1 This Standard covers requirements for coatings of zinc on copper and copper-based alloys and is based on the relevant parts of BS 1706. 2 Typical applications are copper or copper-based alloys in close proximity to zinc coated or aluminium alloy components, particularly in a damp environment.
