Scope:
1 SCOPE.
This procedure covers the laboratory testing of engine sensors and switches actuated by engine oil pressure. This is a device which dynamically monitors engine oil pressure and provides a signal proportional to the pressure over the specified operating range. The engine oil pressure unit may also contain a set of auxiliary contacts which will activate at a specified pressure (nom. 4 psi) preventing a walk home condition or; control an I/P tell-tail lamp.
