This specification covers the properties of a black, UV and heat stabilized, thermoplastic vulcanizate containing fully cured EPDM elastomer particles dispersed in a continuous polypropylene matrix. The material can be processed using injection molding, extrusion, blow molding or other melt processing techniques. 1.1 Material Description. Typical applications include the following: seals, mats and parts where softness and conformity are needed. Continuous operating temperature range: 40 to 135 °C. 1.5 Remarks. Not recommended where exposure to fuel or oil for prolonged periods is anticipated.
