Scope:
A SCOPE 1 This Standard applies to single-walled, longitudinally butt welded steel tubing for use in general automotive applications. Available tube sizes and tolerances up to 10mm O/Dia. are given in Section D: tolerances on 13mm O/Dia. tube are specified in BS 6323 Part 5. Typical uses include:- ù Oil cooler pipes. ù Brake vacuum pipes. ù Fuel lines. This type of tubing is not suitable for power steering or brake fluid lines.
