Scope:

1 SCOPE. This standard outlines the essential features of switches which should be specified by GM Engineering in order to achieve a high degree of reliability in service. It includes 3 tables which are used in conjunction with functional definition of the part drawing. Where a user¿s engineering practices or needs are not applicable to all features of the standard it is intended that they follow as many details as practical.
