Scope:
1 SCOPE.
This test determines whether or not color may be transferred from the surface of one material to another by rubbing. Originally developed for textiles made from all fibers in the form of yam or fabric whether dyed, printed or otherwise colored, it has been found suitable for plastics and other materials used in automotive and related industries. It is based on AATCC Standard Test Method 8 published by the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.
