Scope:
B OBJECT 1. To determine the comparative thermal performance of any PAS system and/or cooler installations on Jaguar or competitor vehicles. 2. The information gained will allow direct comparison against other identical vehicles within the Jaguar model range and previous model years. It will allow development work such as cooler size or positioning to be carried out and the relative changes to be quantified. It will also allow comparisons to be drawn with other vehicles within the model range and competitor vehicles but factors such as engine, gearbox, cooling pack installation etc., will need to be taken into account. 3. The test must be closely controlled by the driver (vehicle speed, gear & engine rpm) and data recorded by the observer so that the value of the comparison is not compromised.
