INTRODUCTION
This specification covers the Company's requirements for the
properties of hardened case produced by the diffusion of carbon or
carbon and nitrogen into the surface of steel parts. All properties
shown refer to finished parts.
Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the
requirements of this specification must comply with the
requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.
