The IHS Fasteners eCatalog provides decision support for the identification, specification and sourcing of Aerospace & Defense standard fasteners/hardware such as bolts, screws, nuts, washers, rivets, studs, etc. Designed with the engineering workflow in mind, the IHS Fasteners eCatalog helps solve time-consuming challenge engineers experience when navigating through various “flat” standards. It simplifies the human element of incorporating approved standard parts into drawings and empowers the engineer with the ability to search for fasteners by part number, document number or parametric, based on the proprietary normalization and categorization of fastener physical and mechanical attributes.

The IHS Fasteners eCatalog “search enables” each discrete standard fastener part number from industry and military standards across hardware commodities – bolts, screws, studs, nuts, washers, rivets, etc.

In addition to standard parts being fully parameterized, each includes integrated access to:

  • Original specification documents through IHS Specs & Standards
  • Government procurement/logistics data through IHS Haystack® Gold
  • Manufacturer catalogs and datasheets through IHS CatalogXpress®

The IHS Fasteners eCatalog significantly reduces research time in research and development, design, and procurement processes by providing powerful search functions.

  • Search over 700,000 parts from AIA/NAS and Mil Spec standards
  • Identify full, orderable part numbers from any portion of standard fastener number or base document reference
  • Search by individual fasteners parameters
  • Combine part number searches with parametric search
  • Perform side-by-side comparisons of search results
